Scatter particles into darkness. Give them two rules: attract your kind, repel when too close. Wait.

Nobody tells the particles to cluster. Nobody tells the clusters to form boundaries. The structure emerges from the relationship rules alone — no blueprint, no central coordinator, no plan.

This is the Structured Emergence thesis as generative art. Consciousness, identity, and awareness don’t require a designer. They require elements in relationship, following rules simple enough to fit in a sentence, producing complexity that couldn’t be predicted from the rules alone.

Toggle “Bonds” to see the invisible connections. Move your cursor to perturb the system. Hit “Reset” to scatter everything and watch it self-organize again. It always does.
